Beating Stress!

Stress is not any event or emotion. You may feel there’s nothing you can do about stress. There will never be more hours in a day, and your work and family responsibilities will always be demanding. But you have lot more control then you think. We have to take care of our thoughts, emotions, lifestyle and the way we deal with our problems. Signs of stress varies from person to person, with some people showing more physical signs like fatigue or high blood pressure, and others expressing more emotion or psychological signs, like irritability or depression.
There are some basic things which we can do anytime and every time we are feeling little low and stressed.
  • Take deep breaths
  • Talk to someone you trust. Talking to someone will make you feel lighter.
  • Go for a nature walk.
  • Exercise, physical activity plays a key role in removing and preventing stress.
  • Take a healthy diet
  • Take out time for your favorite hobby
  • Meditate
  • Listen to music. Studies says if you listen at least 4 songs in a day, you are much stress free as compare to others.
  • Take out some ‘ME’ time out of your stress free life.
  • Reduce your intake of alcohol, nicotine or caffeine
  • Make some time for fun and relaxation
  • Get enough sleep
Always remember Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy. There's going to be stress in life, but it's your choice whether you let it affect you or not. If you don't think your anxiety, depression, sadness and stress impact your physical health, think again.
